KWSM went into full-time operation in the fall of 1961. Falcon Broadcasting began operation under an LMA in March of 2004 and was granted a full license in September of 2005. KSWM is a FOX & News/Talk station. KSWM is served by Weatherology 24/7 (including up-to-the-minute severe weather updates). KSWM is the exclusive broadcaster of NASCAR in this region. KSWM is the home of the Aurora Houn Dawgs High School sports on AM 940 and www.aurorawebtv.com. KSWM also serves other smaller High Schools to provide live play-by-play throughout the winter and spring months.
